When A Door Closes

This is the drawing I did for my Dad after he no longer had to be the interim pastor for Lighthouse Baptist Church. The suggestions were what I heard that was being floated around at the time:
The Discovery Harbour board was looking for more members at the time and asked if he was interested.
At the time my sister needed someone to drive her around to put out her Avon books and make deliveries, and I just threw in the baking for good measure (she bakes cookies and sells them).
The Republican party was looking for candidates and asked if he would run for the state house.
Of course my Mom had a list a mile long of stuff that needed to be done around the house.
And Autumn just loved to go in the back yard and chase the coconut that my Dad would toss.
